2021 Long Beach

Pipe Organ Encounters (POE) is a highly successful outreach program sponsored by the American Guild of Organists.  The 2021 POE in Long Beach will offer teenagers an amazing opportunity to learn more about the pipe organ and its construction; to receive instruction from experienced, world-renowned faculty; to hear and play outstanding instruments located in Southern California; and to meet and interact with peers who share an interst in the "King of Instruments."

Activities will include daily organ lessons, workshops, recitals, and field trips (e.g. Long Beach's Aquarium of the Pacific).

Faculty will include distinguished concert organists and church musicians, including:  Cherry Rhodes, David York, and Leslie Wolf Robb.
