Founded in 1947, the Long Beach Chapter is part of the West Region of the AGO and one of ten chapters in Southern Californa.  The Long Beach Chapter serves cities in and around the Long Beach area, providing its members with professional and social opportunities as well as guidance and support, and offering educationial events and musical programs within the communities it serves.
